Born in Sweden, Anton draws inspiration from across the jazz spectrum, aiming to craft music that feels both urgent and relevant. Hopeful melodies serve as guiding lights, leading listeners through valleys of introspective, often brooding harmonies.

Balancing one foot in the tradition and the other in the ECM world, Anton strives to reach listeners on an emotional level—sharing the joy, spontaneity, and honesty of improvised music.

He has played 13 times with his trio at various events by Residentie Orkest, Den Haag. In June he will play with the orchestra in the Ballet Bilderschlachten.

 

After moving to the Netherlands to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, he had the privilege of studying under Martijn van Iterson, Wim Bronnenberg, and Wolfert Brederode.
